> TWICS is changing to Everywhere

Thank you for your continued patronage with TWICS.

Taking another advance in providing better service for its customers, TWICS would like to announce the change to Everywhere of Inter.net. With this change comes a new line of full service products from the number one Global internet provider, Inter.net .

Three new products provide features that make the web experience more complete and convenient. These features include global dialup access in 38 countries, webmail, an easy to remember @inter.net address, e-mail aliases, IMAP or POP3 mail access, and personal web space. Extra 'AddOns' can add more mail/web space or allow you to take advantage of NTT's Flets ISDN or ADSL calling plans allowing you to customize how you use the internet. Transition Period
Your new Everywhere account will be available from the 15th of January 2003 while your current TWICS account will continue until 28th February 2003. During the parallel operation period, from the 15th of January 2003 to 28th February 2003, you can use both the TWICS and Everywhere accounts.

Moving Your TWICS Service to Everywhere
All of your current TWICS service(s) will be switched to new equivalent Everywhere service(s). We have created your Everywhere account which is similar to your current TWICS service type and have sent you a welcome letter (configuration) for this new service. Please note that although the Everywhere product is similar it will not be an exact copy of your TWICS services. Please refer to the ''New Service Type Chart', the 'Everywhere Service comparison chart', or on our website at www.everywhere.jp for details of the Everywhere services.

Please check your current TWICS service type and new Everywhere service type and details. You can switch the service to any Everywhere service that better fits your needs. Please specify the new service contract that you would like to switch to on the Everywhere application form and fax it to 03-5740-1145 or send it by postal mail to TWICS. If we do not receive a reply from you, your current TWICS account will be switched the equivalent Everywhere service as shown in the 'New Service Type Chart'.

Note for Classic and Grande Users
For those who use TWICS Grande and Classic, the equivalent Everywhere service price will change. Please carefully review your current TWICS contract type and the new Everywhere service features and price, then switch to the product that better fits your needs.

New Settings
To use the Everywhere service after the 15th of January 2003 you will need to use the new Everywhere settings. This announcement was sent to your registered postal address on January 12, 2003. Changes and Billing
You will be charged normally for your TWICS services until the end of February 28, 2003 and charges for the new Everywhere service will start from March 1, 2003. If you decide to switch to a non-equivalent Everywhere service then the new service price will be billed from the first of the following month. Concerning switching, please refer to the application form.

If you would like to cancel your current TWICS account or do not wish to transit to the Everywhere service, please reply to us by Faxing the application form, or send us an cancellation request by email to billing@twics.com or by FAX (03-5740-1145)

1 Service switching schedule

Please fill out the application form and send it back to TWICS customer support center by FAX at 03-5740-1145 or postal mail. If we do not receive your reply, your account will be automatically switched to the equivalent Everywhere service as shown below. The TWICS service will end on the 28th of Feburary, 2003. During the parallel operation period, from the 15th of January 2003 to on 28th February 2003, you can use both the TWICS and Everywhere account .

2 New Service Type Chart
The current TWICS service type will be switched to the New Everywhere service as shown below
*Please note that although the Everywhere product is similar it will not be an exact copy of your TWICS services.

TWICS Village

TWICS Village is changing to @inter.net, The price would be 1,000yen same as TWICS Village.
And you will have new features like:

• @inter.net email account accessible by POP3 and IMAP with 10MB of disk space (5MB more than TWICS).
• Sending email with any email address using Everywhere SMTP authentication.
• WEB mail, Anti-Spam/Virus filtering.
• You can create your own email aliases from the Selfcare (My account) interface
• 10MB of web space.
• 5MB of CGI space.
• Additional web/mail space can be purchased.
• Flets ISDN Optional service anywhere in Japan (1,000yen/month).
• Flets ADSL 1.5 ~ 12MB Optional service anywhere in Japan (2,000yen/month).

TWICS Lite

TWICS Lite is changing to @inter.net JP-Access, The price would be 2,000yen the same as TWICS Lite and but with these new features:

• Unlimited dial up access throughout Japan.
• @inter.net email account accessible by POP3 and IMAP with 10MB of disk space. (5MB more than TWICS).
• Sending email with any email address using Everywhere SMTP authentication.
• WEB mail, Anti-Spam/Virus filtering.
• You can create your own email aliases from the Selfcare (My account) interface
• 10MB of web space.
• 5MB of CGI space.
• Additional web/mail space can be purchased.
• Flets ISDN Optional service anywhere in Japan (1,000yen/month).
• Flets ADSL 1.5 ~ 12MB Optional service anywhere in Japan (2,000yen/month).

TWICS Grande

TWICS Grande is Inter.net Traveler, The price would be 3,600yen ,600yen more than TWICS Grande, with an increase of features like:

• Unlimted Global roaming access in 15 countries.
• Per minute Global roaming access in 23 countries.
• Unlimited dial up access points throughout Japan
• @inter.net email account accessible by POP3 and IMAP with 10MB of disk space (separate from Web space).
• Sending email with any email address using Everywhere SMTP authentication.
• WEB mail, Anti-Spam/Virus filtering.
• You can create your own email aliases from the Selfcare (My account) interface
• 10MB of web space.
• 5MB of CGI space.
• Additional web/mail space can be purchased.
• Flets ISDN Optional service anywhere in Japan (1,000yen/month).
• Flets ADSL 1.5 ~ 12MB Optional service anywhere in Japan (2,000yen/month).

TWICS Grande + Flets ISDN & TWICS Classic

These will change to Inter.net Traveler + Flets ISDN 'AddOn'. The price will be 4,600yen/month. This is 600yen more than the TWICS Grande + Flets ISDN and 257yen less than the TWICS Classic.

3.2 These services will not be continued

*Some of the mobile access points
The following mobile access points will be discontinued:
@6 connection service Tunagetarou Sharp Dial DAL Tokyo Denwa Access point
- PIAFS special and standard access points will be provided with the Everywhere service.

*Clarinet news, Shell account, Participate
Clarinet news and Shell account, available with the TWICS Classic account, and Participate will be discontinued as of the 28th of February 2003.

*TWICS Email account
All of your incoming mail to user@twics.com will be forwarded to your new Everywhere account (user@inter.net) from the 26th of February, 2003, for as long as you keep your account. Please note that you will have no incoming mail to the TWICS server after this date. You will still be able to use the TWICS address as the FROM line.
Please change the configuration of your email program to access the Everywhere mail.

*TWICS users home page
From the 26th of February 2003 TWICS users personal homepage will be redirected from http://www.twics.com/username/ to http://home.inter.net/username/ , for as long as you keep your account.

3.3 Others
Flets ISDN and ADSL calling plans
The settings for the current Flets ISDN users will not change at all. The new Flet's 1.5 ~ 12MB ADSL calling plans are available now. Both the Flets ISDN and ADSL plans can now be used throughout Japan in all available areas. If you like to sign up for the Flets optional service please fax or mail the included Flets service application. You will need to specify the service type (ISDN or ADSL), service start date, and the Everywhere base plan. 4 Billing

Payment Methods

1. Credit Card: VISA, Master Card, American Express, JCB
2. Postal Transfer (500yen handling charge)
3. Bank transfer (only for corporate users)

You will be charged normally for your TWICS services until the end of February 28, 2003 and charges for the new Everywhere service will start from March 1, 2003. If you decide to switch to a non-equivalent Everywhere service then the new service price will be billed from the beginning of the following month. Any extra 'AddOn' services you order will start billing from the actual start date and show up on the next invoice.

Everywhere service will have only monthly contract.

* For those who have monthly contract with TWICS your new contract will continue as monthly.
* For bi-monthly, quarterly, half yearly, 9 month, and yearly contract customers

- All Everywhere products will have a monthly contract period.
- Any remaining balance will be credited to your Everywhere account.

* After February 28th, 2003 your Everywhere service will be billed monthly.
* When there is a difference in price between the previous TWICS service, TWICS Classic & TWICS Grande, and the Everywhere service, the credit will be adjusted accordingly.

In case of cancellation and non-transit to Everywhere

Please send us a cancellation notice by email to billing@twics.com or FAX (03-5740-1145) . Please specify an email address for mail forwarding and new URL for web page redirection (if any) on your cancellation notice. This forwarding will be effective for 2 months after your TWICS service cancellation date.

If your have a monthly contract, we will cancel your TWICS service at the end of the current month we receive the cancellation. If your TWICS account has been paid for beyond the end of February 2003, you will be able to use the Everywhere service until the cancellation date of your original TWICS contract.
